AC/DC returns to Belgium after an absence of eight years! The legendary Australian hard rockers will shake the Festivalpark Stenehei in Dessel on Friday 9 August, as part of their Power Up Tour.

Refunds can be requested from 10 a.m. on Tuesday 13 August 2024 until 11.59 p.m. on Tuesday 27 August 2024, on THIS PAGE.

No refunds will be processed once this period has expired. Reimbursement is made no later than one month after your request. Refunds are subject to an administrative charge of 1 Skully. You must register to request a refund.

There is no minimum age and so everyone is welcome! But everyone at the concert must be in possession of a concert ticket, children included. There is no reduction for children.

Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult (+18) at all times.

We do not recommend that (young) children be brought to the concert grounds, as we do not provide children’s facilities, and because a concert is not the ideal environment for children.

Practical info

The Festivalpark opens at 14:00. Feel free to come in the afternoon to enjoy a drink or a snack, with music by DJ Rock The Fox. The drink and food stands will also remain open for a while after the show.

A GA standing ticket costs 159 euros (including including service charges and mobility and environmental fee).

Do not purchase tickets through any other ticketing website. For instance, don't blindly order your tickets through the first website that pops up on your search engine. Chances are you are visiting an auctioning website or a ticket reseller. Not only will tickets offered through these websites be more expensive; you also risk being denied access to the concert.

Have you bought a ticket through one of these websites? First of all, try getting in touch with this website. Sometimes, you'll be refunded the price difference. If not, consider legal action in civil court. Always report the resale to the Economic Inspectorate via consumerconnect.be.

Our first priority is the safety of concertgoers, artists and crew, workers and local residents. We maintain a strict safety policy. In the lead-up to the concert, we regularly meet with local and federal police and local and provincial authorities. A whole set of measures apply. Other important points:

  • Lighting fires is strictly prohibited in the Festivalpark.
  • By entering the Festivalpark you give express consent to the possibility of being included in any film, photographic, audio or audio-visual recording of any kind, and that this may be used in any media for any purpose at any time and place. This includes video recordings by police or security which may be used for the purpose of consumer safety or combating crime.
  • By entering the site you agree to the concert's terms and conditions of sale.
  • Pets are not permitted. However, an exception is made for assistance dogs (and assistance dogs in training) for people with disabilities.

It's busy on the road and in Dessel!

There are no more parking tickets available for the parking zones around Festivalpark Stenehei. Do not drive to Dessel if you do not have a parking ticket! Park your car at a distance.

There are comfortable alternatives to the car. Come by bike or public transport, use the Park & ​​Bike parkings at a distance. There is a permanent shuttle service to Dessel from Mol station. Kiss & Ride and taxi are located at Mol station. All night trains are now sold out.

Allow for sufficient travel time.

Special guest The Pretty Reckless will be on stage at 19:30.

Traffic is getting busier towards Dessel! Leave in time!

Only parking tickets in the PAARS and BLAUW zones remain available for now. Buy your parking ticket before departure via this link. Use the QR code on your ticket for navigation and follow the signs along the way.

There are comfortable alternatives to the car. Come by bike or public transport, use the Park & ​​Bike parksites at a distance. There is a permanent shuttle service to Dessel from Mol station. Kiss & Ride and taxi are located at Mol station.

We are looking forward to welcoming you at the Festivalpark in Dessel tonight. There are quick and comfortable alternatives to using your car. Opt for a bike or public transport or use the remote Park & Bike parking areas. Allow for enough travel time. Follow instructions on your ticket and the signs along the way. We will also keep you informed via this website and social media.

  • There are still a limited number of tickets available for the extra night train that will leave after the concert from Mol station to Hasselt and Tongeren. Tickets via this link.
  • ⁠Are you coming to Dessel by car? Buy your ticket before departure! Without a parking ticket, you will not have a parking space. There are still a limited number of tickets available for zones BLAUW and ROOD via this link. Important: follow the instructions on your ticket and use the QR code to reach the parking via Waze/Google Maps.

After an absence of 8 years, AC/DC returns to Belgium! The legendary Australian hard rockers will rock the Festivalpark Stenehei in Dessel on Friday 9 August, as part of their Power Up Tour.

Worry-free and comfortable alternatives to the car have been put in place. Come by bike, public transport, with an Event Shuttle or use the Park+Bike parking lots at a distance.

However you travel to Dessel, keep the following tips in mind:

  • Choose the best option for you. Do you need a ticket (night train, event shuttle, parking)? Make sure to buy that in advance.
  • Depart on time. You are not alone on your way to the concert. The travel time, even if you travel by bicycle or public transport, will be longer than in normal circumstances.

Do you live within cycling distance? Jump on your bike and you’ll be there in no time! You can leave your bicycle for free in the spacious and secure bicycle parking near the entrance.

Tip: Festivalpark Stenehei is not within cycling distance? Then check out our free Park & Bike option. 

At Mol station you can board a free shuttle bus to the Festivalpark. Shuttle buses will run continuously from noon until 3 a.m.

After the concert, Belgian railways (NMBS) will run special night trains departing from Mol station that are only accessible to AC/DC e-train ticket holders.

After the concert the night trains will travel from Mol station to:

  • Mol – Beringen – Heusden – Hasselt – Diepenbeek – Bilzen – Tongeren
  • Mol – Lier – Kontich-Lint – Mortsel – Antwerp-Berchem – Antwerp-Central
  • Mol – Mechelen – Vilvoorde – Brussel-Noord/Bruxelles-Nord – Brussel-Centraal/Bruxelles-Central – Brussel-Zuid/Bruxelles-Midi

The special AC/DC e-train ticket is just €15 (round trip), and includes:

  • Arrival by train of your choice to Mol station (2nd class).
  • Return journey with one of the night trains.
  • Free parking for 24 hours in an NMBS car park that is served by the night train. Park your car at the station nearby and travel the rest of the way by public transport.

The free shuttle bus will take you from Mol station to the Festivalpark in Dessel, and back after the show.

Event Shuttle provides worry-free transport to and from Dessel. Event Shuttle has 78 pickup points dotted across Belgium and the Netherlands. Arrival in Dessel is scheduled around 6 p.m. After the concert you will be dropped off at your pickup point.

Tickets for the Event Shuttle are available starting from €25 - rates depend on the distance to Dessel. Only a limited number of tickets are available. Check out the pickup points and book your ticket now via this link.

Are you organising your own coach with an association or with friends? Let us know in advance via this link. A few days before the concert you will receive specific directions to the coach parking area. Please note that passengers can ONLY board and disembark in this area or you will risk being fined for stopping and parking.

The Kiss & Ride zone for the concert is located at the train station of Mol, where parking is free for 30 minutes. Find your way to the Kiss & Ride zone here. The official taxi rank of the Festival Park is also located at Mol station.

The free shuttle bus is a fast and safe way to travel between Dessel and Mol station.

Please note it's not possible to be dropped off or picked up near the Festivalpark. Several streets will be closed to traffic and police will enforce a strict no-stopping and no-parking policy.

You’d like to come to Dessel by bike but it’s just a bit too far? Then opt for Park & Bike. Load your bike into/onto your vehicle, park at one of two free Park & Bike parking facilities at some distance from Dessel and continue your journey by bicycle. In Dessel you can leave your bike in the secure bicycle parking near the main entrance.

  • Park & Bike – West: Duineneind, Kasterlee (KSK Kasterlee) – 8 km – Navigate here.
  • Park & Bike – East: Meiplein, Witgoor (Dessel) – 7 km – Navigate here.

If you are still coming by car or motorcycle please take into account potential delays during your outbound and return trips. Several streets in the vicinity of Festivalpark Stenehei will be closed to traffic and a strict parking ban will be enforced.

Buy your parking ticket in advance for a specific parking facility in one of the 3 available zones. The parking zones are easy to reach by following the navigation link or QR code on your ticket.

  • Coming from the direction of West Flanders, East Flanders or Antwerp > choose zone RED (Rood)
  • Coming from Limburg or the Netherlands > choose zone BLUE (Blauw)
  • Coming from Wallonia, Flemish Brabant or Brussels > choose zone PURPLE (Paars)

NO PARKING TICKET = NO PARKING SPACE!

Get your parking ticket (€25) in advance. Without a valid car park ticket you will have no access to the parking zones. Be sure to buy your ticket on time because the number of available parking spaces is limited. Your parking ticket is only valid in the corresponding parking (colour) zone.

Looking for free or cheaper parking?

  • Leave your car in an NMBS car park where the night train stops and board a train to Mol. With your night train ticket you benefit from 24h of free parking in the NMBS parking facility at your stop (see ‘By public transport’)
  • Bring your bike and park for free in a Park & Bike parking facility.
  • Have someone drop you off and pick you up in the Kiss & Ride parking zone at Mol station and board the free shuttle bus to Dessel.
  • Carpool with friends to limit the cost per person.

In the Festivalpark

At the Festival Park you’ll find a host of food and drink stands. A wide range of beers, wines, soft drinks and non-alcoholic alternatives will be available at the drink stands. There are also special coffee stands with hot and iced coffees. The food stands also serve a diverse selection, from festival classics to healthy/healthier and vegetarian dishes. All food and drink stands are cashless and only accept Skullies. Free drinkable water is available in the sanitary blocks.

At the Festival Park, Skullies are the only currency to pay for food and drinks. At the entrance, you will receive an (empty) Cashless Card that can be topped up with Skullies at the (manned) booths, the top-up stations or via the QR code on your Cashless Card. One Skully is €3.50.

Any remaining Skullies will be refunded upon request. Refunds can be requested from Tuesday 13 August until Tuesday 27 August, on THIS PAGE.

Let’s join forces and keep the festival park tidy!

Upon your arrival you will receive a Return Coin that serves as a deposit for a beverage container (can, bottle or reusable cup) at the Festival Park.

Thirsty? Then hand in 1 Return Coin in exchange for 1 beverage container. The Skullies on your Cashless Card will pay for your drink. With your next order hand in your empty beverage container at the counter in exchange for the new beverage container.

Not thirsty? Then hand in your empty beverage container at the bar or at a mobile collection point in exchange for a Return Coin and save it for your next drink.

Do not throw your empty cup/can/bottle on the ground or in the trash! You don’t have a Return Coin or an empty beverage container but you still want a drink? Then you will be charged a recycling fee of 0.5 Skully (= €1.75) per drink with your next order.

People with a disability who wish to use the wheelchair platform or the reserved parking lot at the AC/DC concert need to buy SPECIAL TICKETS. These tickets are sold out. Subscribe to the waiting list.

Tickets for the wheelchair platform cost 159 euros, including service charges and mobility and environmental fee. These tickets are limited. You can buy a maximum of two tickets to the wheelchair platform. A parking ticket costs 25 euros, including service charges. You can buy a maximum of 1 parking ticket.

Your ticket purchase will only be accepted if you send a copy of your European blue card or other official document, stating that you have a disability, to ACDC@inter.vlaanderen

In collaboration with Inter, Live Nation puts in a great effort to make the concert accessible to the disabled. So we have paid a lot of attention to the accessibility of the concert site and its surroundings:

  • We provide a viewing platform for wheelchair users, people with crutches... with a grandstand view of the stage. Specific tickets (see above) are required for people using the platform.
  • Adapted toilets are situated in locations all over the concert site.
  • Specific parking spaces are provided. To use the ADD parking, you'll need to purchase a parking ticket in advance. Capacity is limited - please request your reserved parking space in advance through the form above. Inter will keep you posted on the next steps.
  • If you wish to bring a folding chair because of your disability or another health issue, you'll also need a pass to bring this. Please ask Inter for this pass in advance.
  • During the concert, you can always call on ADD staff for assistance, free of charge. This may include: toilet, moving and eating assistance, etc. Do not hesitate to talk to an ADD assistant, whenever you require assistance. You can find them on the concert site (at the viewing platform).
  • Pets are not allowed in, except for assistance dogs (either or not in training) for people with a disability.

Rent a locker if you wish to keep your personal belongings safe and under lock and key. You’ll find the lockers across from the main entrance, just outside the Festival Park.

The information stand and help desk are near the main entrance. 

Free earplugs are available at the information stand.

At the Festival Park, hundreds of toilets and urinals are available in the various sanitary blocks. Use of the toilets is free of charge.

The Red Cross is on standby at the Festival Park to handle minor injuries as well as emergencies. The location of the first aid station is clearly indicated.

Lost your keys, wallet, phone? Any lost items are stored at the info booth. Have you found something yourself? Take it to the info booth. 

Our Lost & Found service is available until 2 AM. Afterwards, all items that weren't collected, will be brought to the local police department of Dessel. Reach them on pz.balendesselmol.wijkdessel@police.belgium.eu, tel. +32 (0)14 33 37 80.
