Practical info: Cashless | Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Festivalpark Werchter
In the Festivalpark you can pay safely and efficiently using digital Coins. At the entrance to the festival you’ll receive an empty payment card. You can load Coins onto this to use for payment in the Festivalpark. Each Coin costs 3.50 euros. There are a number of ways to load Coins onto your card.
- At the top-up booths: go to any of the booths and state how many Coins you want to load. After you have paid, the Coins are loaded onto the card. You can pay at the booths with any bank card or the current payment apps.
- QR code: the card has a QR code. Scan this with your smartphone, follow the instructions and buy Coins within a few clicks.
Once your Coins are on your card, paying at the bars and food stands is a piece of cake. You settle up by swiping your card on a reader.
Can I get a refund of any unspent Coins after the concert?
Yes, you can request a refund from Thursday 11 July 2024 at 11am until Thursday 25 July 2024 at 11.59pm on THIS PAGE. After this period has elapsed, no refunds will be processed. Refunds are issued within a month of request. An administrative fee of 1 Coin is charged for refunds. You must register in order to request a refund. Only purchased Coins are refundable, please refer to the conditions of sale.
Checking your cashless card balance
It’s easy to check your Coins balance at the bars, food stands and at the booths. Have you bought your Coins using a QR code and are therefore a registered user? Then you can also use the QR code to view your Coins balance as well as a summary of your orders.
I have lost my card with Coins in the Festivalpark
Have you registered as a user by loading Coins onto your card using the QR code? The helpdesk staff can block the band of a registered user. The balance is then added to a new carrier. Have you bought Coins at the ‘top-up’ booth and are not a registered user? Then both the card and the Coins on it have been lost and we cannot transfer your balance.

What can I pay for with Coins?
In the Festivalpark, you can use the Coins on your card to pay at every bar and food stand. Coins cannot be used to pay at the merchandise stands or the various stands on the street outside the Festivalpark.
Can I also use my card with Coins at Rock Werchter?
The cashless card is linked to a specific festival or concert and, as such, cannot be used at other festivals or concerts taking place in the Festivalpark. Neither can Coins be held over until the next year. You can request a refund of any unspent Coins.
