As I Lay Dying: THROUGH STORMS AHEAD EUROPE 2024

After a great passage at last year's Graspop Metal Meeting, As I Lay Dying is coming back to Belgium! On Tuesday, December 10, you can see the American metalcore band at work on the stage of Ancienne Belgique in Brussels. Tim Lambesis & co are also bringing along bands Decapitated, Caliban and Left to Suffer to complete the metal party.

The band from San Diego has been around for a long time and was personally responsible for a new wave in American metal with their second album 'Frail Words Collapse' (2003). Their metalcore undertones were innovative and enjoyed worldwide. Many successes followed one another and in 2008 As I Lay Dying was even nominated for a Grammy Award with their song "Nothing Left." In 2013, the band was briefly put to a stop. But after a break of several years, they were able to rekindle the fire of their many fans in 2019 with the amazing album "Shaped By Fire. There was no more discussion, As I Lay Dying was all the way back! The original members, vocalist Tim Lambesis and guitarist Phil Sgrosso, also welcomed three new musicians. Ryan Neff, Nick Pierce and Ken Susi completed As I Lay Dying back, bringing a breath of fresh air to the iconic metalcore band.
The European tour announcement is not the only good news. As I Lay Dying also releases a new single for its fans today. "Burden," as we have come to expect, is once again characterized by raging intensity, soaring choruses and ingenious guitar solos.
